Accessible by Design

Education has never been more diverse.  Have you got a great idea for how to use technology to break down the barriers and promote inclusion among the UK's learners, staff and researchers?  You don’t need to be a programmer or designer; you just need to form a team of people working or studying in higher or further education in the UK, preferably involving or led by students.

Your idea might focus on how to help people with different needs do something particular, or it might be about changing something that exists into a more accessible tool (like Access YouTube).  You can suggest a solution for individuals or a whole college or university, but you will be required to show that it could have benefits beyond your own organisation.
